This site as it stands at present looks excellent on Mac, with Sarari, Netscape7.1, and Mozilla Firebird0.7, and now IE. If it looks bad in your browser, either buy a Mac or upgrade to the latest browsers!

This is a work in progress, I hope to turn the whole site over to this look and feel over the next few days, so this site may not be working 100%, esp in those pesky window browsers.

Idiots, who?

Some people just don't get computers! This outburst stems from an article I read today on the BBC News website. I work in IT support and well I just came from a support call and it baffles me how much people do not, I repeat do not understand about their computers and how they use them. Even intelligent people don't understand them.

What does this mean? That we the geeks, the people who work with their computers day in and day out, have we created our own little sphere, were few people dare enter? I think so, which is a shame, as I know if my Dad understood mp3's and the use of an iPod he would like such an item for is car or at home. But he doesn't and when I try and make him understand I might as well be talking Esperanto.

Is there anything we can do to remedy this situation? Will the next generations be more savvy than I or on average. Will they get all things tech. I am not so sure. We must be going wrong somewhere. Technology has to be approachable by everybody.
