Andrea and Ian
Andrea and I met in December 1999 for the first
time in Cerro Paranal, Chile, we were married some two
years later on the 12th December 2002 in Peebles,
Scotland, and then again on the 1st February, Antofa-
gasta, Chile for the sequel. The time before is forgotten
(with respect X’s), the time in between is our growing
history and the time after the wedding is the here and
now.
This is a page about us, from the start to the
now. We will try and cover everything, well not all,
some of it could not be published here. But most of it, and hopefully some of it inter-
esting. Some of it truthful, that will be my part of course. Like all good relationships
it started not to well. But I kinda think it ended well. I
am married to a most wonderful women.
Andrea and I are from different countries, she is
Chilean and I British, even down to the Union flag
underwear. This is the reason for two marriages, no we
had not already been divorced once and re-married,
no, that is not the case. I hope in a way that our differ-
ences will some how in
these pages shine
through. It has not
always been easy to
deal with our cultural heritages, neither our languages.
Many an argument was from our misunderstandings. Our first meeting lead to a mis-
understanding that lead us not to talk to each other for the next six months luckily
we got over this problem eventually. But that a story for our “The Meeting Story...”.
This page is a thing I hope that will grow and change along with Andrea and
myself. We like all couples don’t know what the future, the life has instore for us,
maybe little ones, maybe big challenges, hopefully these pages will be part of these
things.
